Basic Information

The MG4 is a pure electric compact hatchback launched by SAIC MG, with the 2026 model officially launched on August 29, 2025. Positioned as a 5-door 5-seat family commuter car, it features body dimensions of 4395×1842×1551mm and a wheelbase of 2750mm, adopting a two-box body structure.

Powertrain System

Equipped with a front-mounted single motor across all variants, delivering maximum power of 120kW (163 horsepower) and peak torque of 250N·m, with a top speed of 160km/h. The 0-50km/h acceleration takes only 3 seconds, while 0-100km/h acceleration is completed in 7.2 seconds. Features a fixed gear ratio single-speed transmission with front-wheel drive layout.

Battery & Range

Offers two battery configurations: 42.8kWh LFP battery (CLTC range 437km) and 53.9kWh semi-solid-state battery (CLTC range 530km). Energy consumption is 10.4kWh/100km and 11.9kWh/100km respectively. Supports fast charging with 30%-80% charge in 20-21 minutes, and comes standard with 3.3kW V2L external discharge function.

Chassis & Suspension

Front suspension adopts MacPherson independent suspension, while rear suspension uses torsion beam non-independent suspension. Body torsional stiffness reaches 31000N·m/deg, equipped with electric power steering system.

Interior Configuration

Features a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster + floating central touchscreen design (available in 10.25-inch, 12.8-inch, and 15.6-inch sizes), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting OPPO Smart Car Connectivity System. Comes with steering column gear shifter and retains physical buttons below the central screen. Boot capacity is 471L, expandable to 1362L with rear seats folded.
